Finger Manipulated Weave Documents:

These are scanned images of the pages from the finger manipulated weaves chapter of The Key to Weaving by Mary Black. The files are very large, so I left the chapter in pieces so you can download them a chunk at a time.

90" Loom Schedule:

The following schedule was agreed upon at the Weaver's meeting on Jan 13th:

Jan 16 - Feb 21 - Sandra/Sharon

Feb 23 - Mar 28 - Carmel/Donna

Mar 30 - May 1 - Rosemary/Pat

May 4 - June 6 - Elaine/Chris

June 8 - Jul 10 - Edna/Norma

Sept - Phyllis/Sandra Morrison

October - Elaine/Chris

This schedule gives everyone five weeks to work on the loom. This should be enough to finish both coverlets but, if it becomes apparent when you finish the first that there isn't enough time to finish your second within the allotted five weeks, don't start your second one and let the next pair know that the loom is free. Time for the second coverlet will be added to the end of the schedule.

Don't forget that guild dues ($25) must be paid before you can start weaving. The warp itself is $18 per coverlet.
